Experience Montana fly fishing off the beaten path. Many of these rivers and streams flow through remote corners of Montana, lack easy-access, and are overlooked or unknown to other anglers and guides. By utilizing special equipment and experience gained from years of exploration, we are able to offer trips for anglers looking for a true fly fishing adventure. 

Our adventure fly fishing trips often require early meeting times, long drive-times, and long days on the water for both anglers and our guides. These trips are best suited for advanced anglers with good physical fitness. Put-ins and take-outs are often rugged, self-shuttles can be required, and conditions can be variable.

We offer our Adventure Fly Fishing Trips on a limited basis. Few outfitters and guides have the experience required to operate on these rivers safely and proficiently, even among our own guide staff. We recommend advanced bookings and require angler flexibility. Many of our adventure trips lead us to remote places and rivers that are sensitive to weather and water flows: As a result, we cannot guarantee any destination but will switch to the best available full day trip in the event of unsuitable conditions.

We do not publicize all of the rivers and streams our adventure fly fishing trips lead to. These rivers are unknown to many Montana anglers, and better kept that way. Example destinations include:

• Upper Stillwater River Float Trips
• Yellowstone National Park hike-to-fish backcountry wade trips

For best availability we recommend booking 6-12 months in advance. Most destinations only available as part of multi-day trip bookings.
