Missouri River Ranch
Fine riverside lodging and dining
The All Inclusive Experience
The Missouri River Ranch is the premier lodging for couples, friends, and small corporate groups coming to enjoy the world-class fly fishing on Montana’s Missouri River. A favorite of many of our anglers, this active 160-acre ranch sits right on the banks of the Missouri River near Craig, MT and provides big open landscapes, private river access, excellent accommodations, great dining, and the opportunity to ‘get away from it all’ without sacrificing comfort or amenities. Owners and hosts, Chip and Sue Anderson, provide warm hospitality and attentive personal service during your stay. The combination and their excellent lodging and our blue ribbon fly fishing make for the perfect Missouri River fly fishing trip and an ‘all-inclusive’ experience.
Lodging and Dining:
The lodging consists of two main lodging buildings, 10 private rooms with baths, a restaurant, fully stocked bar, and glass enclosed four-season dining deck. The lodge itself is built around the original dairy barn built in 1928 that has been renovated into modern facilities that maintain a rustic charm.
The dining at the Missouri River Ranch is many of our guests’ favorite part of their stay. All three daily meals are included in your stay, and you can expect hearty, yet elegantly, traditional Montana fare prepared with their chef with fresh ingredients. Some alcoholic beverages are complimentary, while others are available to purchase. All non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary.
The Missouri River Ranch is uniquely situated right on the banks of the Missouri River with blue ribbon fly fishing literally right out your back door. The fly fishing on the Missouri River will be at the center of your trip to the Missouri River Ranch, and anglers can count on great fishing from mid-March through mid-November.
The Missouri River is world-famous for its healthy numbers of large wild trout, excellent hatches, and unique character, making for some of the most exciting fly fishing in Montana. Fly fishing on the Missouri River lends itself well to beginner and seasoned anglers alike, with different challenges for anglers of all skill levels. While the dry fly fishing is the main attraction for many anglers, the Missouri River also lends itself to nymphing and streamer fishing throughout the season.
