Fly fishing on the Missouri River lends itself well to beginner and seasoned anglers alike, with different challenges for anglers of all skill levels. While the dry fly fishing is the main attraction for many anglers, the Missouri River also lends itself to nymphing and streamer fishing throughout the season.

Anglers can expect productive fly fishing for wild trout throughout the lodge’s operating season from mid-April thru late October. Generally, May-July and September-October are the prime months each year. August is hopper season with excellent fly fishing, but typically better suited for advanced and expert anglers.
