Lodging and Dining:

The Gallatin River Lodge and their full service dining facility, The Gallatin River Grill, is regarded as the best lodging and finest dining in the region. Their motto “luxury, privacy, service” will shine through in every aspect of your stay.

The boutique hotel and fly fishing lodge offers accommodations for up to 25 guests. The six Main Lodge Suites all have large Jacuzzi tubs, walk-in showers, fireplaces, and custom made furnishings. A king or queen sized bed, large comfortable couch, beautiful fir floors, Tiffany lamps, and western artwork adorn each room.

The new Trout Cabin has four downstairs guest rooms with contemporary furnishings, king sized beds or two twin beds, and private bathrooms with large walk-in showers. These rooms open onto covered patios with views of the pond. The upstairs two-bedroom suite offers sleeping accommodations for up to six guests, two bathrooms, a wet bar, entertainment room, and a private deck overlooking the pond.

The Gallatin River Grill offers the best dining in Bozeman and Southwest Montana. With breath taking views, creative cuisine, and a full bar, the lodge offers a fine dining experience you will remember. Each aspect of dinner at the lodge is made from in house ingredients. The culinary team works exceptionally hard to bring an array of Montana products to your table. Local farms, ranches, and dairies allow the grill to provide you the freshest ingredients year-round. You will find a handpicked selection of micro brews, a full selection of premier liquors, and outstanding wines to accompany your meal.

Fishing:

Bozeman, MT is the trout capital of Montana and anglers staying at the Gallatin River Lodge will be able to take advantage of Bozeman’s best fly fishing during their stay. Famous rivers including the Yellowstone River, Madison River, Jefferson River, and the lodge’s namesake Gallatin River are all easily accessible. The nearby Paradise Valley Spring Creeks offer some of the finest wade fishing in the state. Adventurous anglers will enjoy exploring Yellowstone National Park as a part of their fly fishing trip. The blue-ribbon rivers, streams, and lakes are truly endless.

The Spring, Summer, and Fall months offer consistently great fly fishing across all of the waters near the Gallatin River Lodge. The annual stonefly hatches of salmonflies and goldenstones generally begin on the Bozeman, MT area rivers at the end of June and run through the middle of July. Hopper fishing picks up shortly thereafter and keeps the good times rolling through August. Fall hatches of mayflies add to the excitement and makes September and October two of our favorite months.

Our custom outfitting program allows anglers staying at the Gallatin River Lodge to enjoy guided fly fishing on all of Bozeman’s best rivers. Our guides will pick-up and drop-off guests at the lodge for many of the nearby rivers, but we do ask guests fishing rivers further away to meet locally.
